Happy Easter from our family to yours!
I absolutely love that Walker is old enough to really have conversations about what Easter is all about. He is absolutely right when he says "Jesus was on that cross because of those bad guys and...awe...he died because we disobey but Then he rolled that BIG rock away and said I'm alive and...he loves me!"
Yep, buddy! There is nothing more precious than sharing the gospel with my son!
-we are not big on the Easter bunny in our house. Walker has never really cared for him so we don't push it. Also, we are going to Disney next weekend so the Easter basket came up a little bare this morning.
This year:
-the Jesus Storybook Bible
-a water bottle for Disney
-new sunglasses
-paw patrol stickers
-shoes (that he desperately needed because his feet grow so fast!)
-2 peanut butter eggs
-we dyed eggs last night.
-and then hid them this afternoon!
We had a great Easter! Holidays are always a little sad because we aren't with family but one cool thing is we now have a military family. I cooked lunch and then we had 4 of our closest military friends over to eat with us around our table!
After lunch and everyone headed home, we took a much needed nap!
We had a great day!
