Hello from the East Coast

Wow. Since I updated this blog our little family has driven across the United States and are now settled in on the East Coast. Well, getting settled in...

Here is a short timeline of our travels (I will do seperate posts for each stop along the way):

Our first stop. Arizona. Cracker Barrel. You don't know how much you miss it until you don't have it!

Stop for the night- Tuscon, AZ (Davis Monothan Air Force Base)

Second stop for the night- Midland, TX. I didn't get a picture but we had dinner with my husband's long time friend while we were there!

Isaiah's plant still popping in and out of hotels with us. 

Fourth stop- MS for 10 days!

Fifth stop- Gatlinburg, TN. Me and the hubby reminisced about our honeymoon here!

World Traveler. Even after going across the whole country, he only added 2 new states to his list of states that he has been in. A total of 23 so far.

On our way to our Sixth stop in Winston-Salem, NC we heard our tire thumping, my low tire pressure light came on and so we pulled over. We had a nail in our tire. We were about to go to the nearest tire shop and sit while our tire got fixed, when a man from said tire shop pulled up in his truck to the store. My husband asked if he could plug our tire and in about 10 minutes we were good to go! Thank you, Lord!

We had so much fun but we were all happy to see this sign! And also laughed at the "Virginia is for lovers" lol!

After making it all the way to Virginia and looking so good, we decided to let Isaiah's plant get a "little sunshine" outside on our new porch. In our exhaustion, however, we left it out overnight and it literally froze to death :( We warmed it up for a few days, gave it some water, cut off the deadness and I'm proud to say that I think it's going to make it. 

As of yesterday. What can we say? It's a fighter just like our sweet Isaiah was!

and here we are...on the East Coast. Everyone is still alive and active as ever. Daddy started his new job this week so we are getting adjusted to this new normal. We love you all. Thank you for the prayers over us as we traveled!
